Thanks for stopping by our web page. Our staff’s prayer is that you find what you are looking for through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Toward that end, the church exists to introduce people to Him and to equip them to serve and enjoy Him through a life lived on purpose. At Tate Springs Baptist Church you will find normal people, living life together, seeking to be and become all God designed them for.

Churches come in all different flavors. Tate Springs Baptist Church is a family-friendly, multi-generational church with a long and proud history. Celebrating our 125th year, times have changed since our humble and country beginnings, but one constant has been the proclamation of the Gospel as the timeless message of truth that changes lives. At Tate Springs we like the word “vintage” because we believe there is much value in the past as it relates to our identity and heritage. We are committed to honoring our past while at the same time not being constrained by it. What does that mean? It means we value a blended format of worship that blends the old with the new as we seek to be relevant to our contemporary culture. It means that times change and the church has the responsibility to understand and respond to those changes while never compromising the tenants of the faith that are forever changeless.

As you check out various portions of our web page let me extend to you our earnest commitment to minister to you and your family. Web pages offer a great way to check out a church before visiting but they will never replace human contact. We would love to know you and discover together how we can best serve you. Where are you located? 

We are located north of the Green Oaks exit of Interstate 20 in Arlington, Texas. Our sanctuary is located on the southeast corner of Little Road and Pleasant Ridge Road at 4201 Little Road. Our education buildings for children (kindergarten through 6th grade) and youth (7th through 12th grade) are located on the Northeast corner of Little Road and Pleasant Ridge at 4001  Little Road. When do you meet?

We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM for Bible Study, and 10:30 AM for worship. We also have a special age-appropriate worship service for school-aged children Kindergarten through 4th grade. Our children's worship meets in the education building located across the street from our sanctuary.


What should I wear? Do I need to bring anything with me?

You are welcome to come just as you are! While some folks feel comfortable wearing a suit or a "Sunday dress", many feel comfortable wearing jeans and a T-shirt. For worship and Bible study, everyone is encouraged to bring a Bible with them. If you do not own a Bible, there are Bibles located in the sanctuary seats that you are welcome to use.

Where do I take my children?

We offer quality nursery care for babies and toddlers.  For two year olds through pre-kindergarten we provide age appropriate classroom instruction.  Nursery and preschool classes are located near the Worship Center.  A  check-in station is conveniently located in the Worship Center lobby.  Classes for school age children are located in our education buildings accross the street from the main church.  A check-in station is also available at this location.
